Grönen draws on Små Grödorna, a Swedish Midsummer round-dance whose melodic and gestural patterns recur across unrelated traditions, resisting any singular origin. Deaf to provenance, Grönen embodies tradition as itinerant knowledge — transmitted through mimicry, owned by no one.
